Grinding and beveling operations are performed to close tolerance, quality control procedures to obtain precise flatness, exact parallelism, superior surface finish and dimensional accuracies. The final sharpening procedure used in our production process duplicates the bevel angles and dimensions specified by individual machine builders. These bevels are then polished to a high reflective finish and provide the finest cutting edge quality available. Axial/lateral runout tests are performed across both sides of the blade and only the highest degree of variance is recorded and documented. A guaranteed maximum lateral runout of .006” T.I.R. exceeds industry standards and prevents “stop signing”, the primary cause of premature knife failure. Tension is recorded and documented as well to insure blade stability. Each blade is packed with a certificate of inspection…quality assurance you can depend on for high-speed, trouble free cutting.
