HEAT TREATING
 International Knife and Saw's Heat Treating Capacity ranks as one of the largest of any knife and saw manufacturer in the World. IKS can heat treat a single blade up to 200 inches in length.
Computer controlled heat treating and tempering processes produce blades to close tolerance quality control standards
International Knife and saw offers the largest in-house heat treating facility of any north American knife and saw manufacturer.
GRINDING
 International Knife and Saw has one of the worlds largest integrated grinding facilities for producing industrial machine blades.
Thickness tolerances can be held within 40 millionths (0.000040”) of an inch on specific IKS grinders. Outer diameter grinding ranges are 2” to 26”. Grinding length capability of up to 400” combined with rotary surface grinding of up to 84” allow for flexibility to manufacture almost all sizes of blades.
